How It Works
Custom goods, minus the chaos. Here’s what to expect: from start to finish.
01. Choose Your Product
Start with the right base. We offer a curated selection of hats, tees, sweatshirts, totes, and more—styles we trust for fit, durability, and stitch quality. Visit our Products page to see our go-to recommendations, or bring your own items if you already have something in mind.
02. Share your Vision
This is where the creative part comes in. Send over your logo files, brand artwork, or even a rough design idea—we’re happy to work from whatever stage you’re in. Along with that, we’ll gather your quantity, timeline, and how the items will be used so everything stays aligned from the start.
The part where it all comes together
03. We Set It Up
We handle design placement, sizing, and production specs, then send a clear quote for approval. Once everything is confirmed, your project is queued for production.
04. You Pick it Up
Everything is produced locally with care and attention to detail. When your order is ready, you’ll pick it up at our (practically Pinehurst) studio—131 Ampersand Road, Aberdeen, NC.

Nope. We don’t require minimums. Whether you need two pieces or two hundred, we’re happy to help. Many of our clients are just getting started and ordering small batches for team uniforms, personal swag, or branded essentials.
-
Turnaround varies based on our current workload, but most orders are completed within 10 business days. Every piece is custom, and we take the time to do it right.
-
Yes—within reason. Most clients bring logos or brand assets, but we’re happy to help guide font choices or make simple design decisions based on your idea or mockup. Design support is available for an added fee; just ask when you inquire.
-
You can. We accept client-provided items for embroidery, but please note that while issues are rare, we can’t replace items you supply. We’ll do everything we can to fix a mistake if one happens, but responsibility ultimately stays with the client. Ordering garments through Whatsername ensures your full order is delivered—even if we have to redo a piece.
-
We accept PDF, JPG, and PNG files. Vector files are preferred when available, but we can convert most artwork using Adobe Illustrator if needed.

Sometimes! Depending on order size and timing, rush service may be available for an added fee. Reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.
